Honoring Mike Grant with the Jeffrey Adams Award

If you have ever held the hope for yourself or someone you know, please join us to honor Mike Grant for his commitment to mental health recovery and to the arts.

Mike Grant, partner at Best Best & Krieger, graciously serves his community. He has been on the Board of Directors of Jefferson Transitional Programs since 2000.

Jeffrey Adams, a talented and accomplished artist was the subject of an exhibition last May at Art Works. An exemplary model for creative arts recovery, Jeffrey passed away in February 2009.

Great Art Race Around the World: Grab your passport and earn your visa by traveling around the world and trying new art activities in each country. Afterwards, place your completed passport in the basket for a chance to win a work of art.

Food is provided by Outback Steakhouse.

Program and Award Ceremony: Presentation of the Jeffrey Adams Award to Mike Grant for his commitment to mental health recovery and to the arts. Live painting - Greg Adamson's "Face the Music" presentation. Live musical performances by Beverly Baird and troupe, unmasking the stigma of mental illness. D. J. Elliott's "Masterpiece," chronicling her 30-year journey of recovery.

Silent Auction: Fabulous items like vacation destinations and fine art for you to bid on!

$50 per person ($45 tax-deductible) and $60 per person after May 1, 2010.
